hi can anybody tell me where I have gone wrong. I have a bt hub which I have configed as per the mania planet link,
I have configered the ports 2350/3450 and 5000 to run in UDP and TCP and can create the server in game, only prob is that I cannot contact any other server in game. keep getting message saying unable to connect. any ideas all. thx
I now have an error message when someone is trying to connect to the server : Connection to 81.151.192.51.230 failed or disconnected from server 10060. Anybody got any idea's, have turned off my firewall and anti virus still no joy. My ip address is 192.168.1.64 if this helps. thx all

Do you have a number of the error?

Try to deactivate your anti-virus and firewall.

Error 10060 is an error of the ports of the server and not of your game. If you launch a dedicated server, you need to change the ports of the server, if it's ingame, just open this in UDP and TCP. But you can connect you on any server with closed or opened ports. Are you sure, it's not a problem of the server?

Can you try to enter on an Ubisoft Server?

Thx for the info, have found out that port 80 is closed, is there a way of opening it on this bthub3
or is there another way round it.

Hi all, ref the bthub3 if this helps anyone, this is only for win xp and pro, go to computer and click on local disk c/prog files/bt hub/launcher/launch hm/settings/admin password/advanced settings/port forwarding/create new game or application/add tm2 canyon and add ports 2350 in tcp and udp/add ports 3450 in tcp and udp/ add ports 5000 in tcp and udp/ apply these settings. then go to configuration you will see that your game has been listed/add your ip address to the box ie 192.168.1.64 and press apply. double check that you have done all these steps and come out of the bt hub prog. Note when you go back to the in game server ie create game you will get the message that you are on a private networkand other players will not be able to join. ignore this they still can join. get a friend to log on to your server from a remote source and have some fun. hope this helps some or all. I only operate win xp pro but this should work on any bt hub 3 and any operating system I think.
