Shootmania trailer

Post by AlexKF »

I thought the trailer was more successful than I thought it would have been... on twitter new tweets literally every minute, on youtube some 100k total hits so far and I wonder if the excitement will carry on.. but I must admit, the graphics of SM look immense (watch the trailer in 1080p ;) )

I think the response so far has been positive and I am looking forward to the development... still, its a shame the release will still be quite a while (I heard end of 2012- not sure) but that is better than them releasing it with many buys eh?

Yeah. It's a very well made, high energy trailer with a killer soundtrack.

Popularity and fame totally deserved :)

Haha nice gifs ;P

I just hope the same amount of people will get the game :P

Also, does anyone know what the max players will be?

I really hope for a max player setting at 48 v 48 on a massive map...

Also having played Quake for several months, it will be interesting to see what that communities thinks and how it compares to SM :D

Nothing less than perfection was what I expected. My expectations were blown out of the water. :3

i hate to say this about TM SHOOTMANIA but i will Not be buying this, only on the grounds i hate
the Halo feeling in shooters, shame it had not been more like world war 2 style..i think its the
flying what puts me off..
would be nice tho if the modders could also turn off GRAVITY when making a map !
if this could be done then i think i would buy it
but it still looks very nice game

I think he means extreme jumping.. each game has it's style, this one, is far far far from WW games. Much more about pure skill than about what weapons you have or what forces you are

Notice how little people get hit.
I guess when making video, you have to play 2 people on a locked server in order to get them to hit eachother because when making ghosts you cant hit them. This doesnt seem very good for people who wants to create some sort of short movies, but dont have anyone to help them

Like in BF3, you need to have friends playing on a locked server in order to get people kill eachother.

This has nothing to do with the gameplay itself, because I guess the way its played is how it works and makes it possible.
Like in TM where you drive trough eachother. Not great for video-creating, but this is how the gameplay gets possible.
