Hi all : why doe's it take so long to contact a server in game had a message tonight that I was kicked because it took longer than 88secs before I could join a game, I click on any server and it comes up with the names of who is playing then I click on connect and it takes ages, I keep getting the message that I could not connect and I have to return to the main menu and start all over again. What's going on I have no prob creating my own in game server and have had other players join with no prob. More nights than not I just conno't play the game any reason why people. My firewalls are all set, my router is all set and most times I do not have any probs during the day but night time is a differant matter. Anybody got any answers or doe's everybody have the same probs. Look forward to your comments.

How long have you issue to contact online servers?

The problem is 24/7. Sometimes it is about half of the servers on the list can not be contacted. After waiting a while you can only click "OK" to return to the main menu.
It happens occasionally but mostly you can connect.
The problem has been there for 3-4 days

I do not know but it looks like it is on leased servers - TrackManiaServer.org, Gaming Solution, etc - which sometimes have very bad ping.
But again, I'm not sure.

Perhaps you could try to connect to our server Smurfen.net in the Netherlands - Noord Brabant.
Our server is not a leased server and the problem you tell about could be provider or indeed host-related.

Hi all many thanks for your replies, still have the same probs but will cope, glad to know that I am not the only one having probs thx again all.
