Please add a little delay to the match-making in the lobby.
Wait like 2minutes before a 2v2 starts.
At the moment as soon as 4players are ready a 2v2 will start. The truth is that most people dont like 2n2 when it has been 3n3 for almost 3years.
Give the system a 'chance' to find a 3v3. When nothing is found after +-2min, then just start a 2v2.

Indeed, the progressive mode is doing "too much". It will be fixed in next version. For the time being, I've disabled it on the gold lobby.

1. Poor design choices.
You guys told me that the map-selection-design didnt have the "ShootMania Style" because its using the MP-library.
So now my question:
Then why does the rematch-vote have the ShootMania Style? There is simply no excuse. You guys ( if it's you guys ) are making poor design choices.
1 part of the game has MP-design. Another part has ShootMania design. It does not make sense and quite frankly it's ugly. ( Im not talking about: you think its ugly, I think its beautiful. It's simply ugly for everybody. )
The game misses personality & character.
2. Map Selection Suggestion
When there are a lot of maps the maps are on different pages. So you can't see what maps are voted for at that moment.
Currently the map-vote is designed/coded using this philosophy:
" A player votes for the map HE wants to play."
But this is not the reality. Imagine that you want to play Rust and that you hate Spitfire.
The voting starts and 2 players vote for Ironfist & 2 for spitfire.
Will you still vote for Rust? Ofcourse not. You will vote for Ironfist.
With the current pages-system this isnt possible and the overall happiness of the players drops.
The solution:
Responsive design? Why is this not in the game?
Use more columns instead of pages. My monitor still has 80% of free space.

I can use my belt to tie my shoes, but that doesnt mean it looks good. Bad analogy but exactly the same as you guys are doing.
It looks horrible. It's bugfree & works, but it's horrible. Its not a design.
Stop coding & implementing the design later. Put some pride in your work.
Typical coders. No eye for the details & design.
4. Add scores of matches in friendslist

Just some luxury for the player. This information can be useful.
For me it would be useful so I can decide if I should wait and ally my friends (trixda) or play a match (solo) myself.
"Do I have time to play 1 match? or should I wait for my friend?"
5. Why can a kicked player rejoin? He is obviously kicked for a reason.

Quick fix on the matchmaking :

I'm trying to rework the vote map UI to give it a better SM feeling. However don't forget that there's a lot of constraints that might not be obvious to players at first to take into account when creating the UI. It's a bit too easy to say
- Added a safe time of 15 seconds after a server transfer request that prevents players to be listed as ready if the transfer is too slow. It fixes the random players suspensions and incomplete matches.
- Fix division by 0.

EMPTY HUD ELEMENTS + TRANSITIONS
When you are connecting to the matchserver you see 3 things:
- Progressbar
- Mapselection backgrounds ( empty )
- Rematch backgrounds ( empty )
= Little bit weird because 3 hud elements are overlapping.
Once ur finished loading everything dissapears & you see the map-selection.
SUGGESTION
Ive seen manialinks & even the 2 side-panels on the matchmaking lobbies with sexy animations.
So , if you have the time, could you please :
1. hide everything while loading
2. animate/show map-selection when you are fully connected to the matchserver.

How long is the system looking for a sub?
I have the impression that there never joins any sub if you decide to do a rematch.
So a player leaves in map#1 , you vote rematch... No subs ever in map#2...? Maybe I am wrong.
Also: Why offer a rematch for an unbalanced match? 2v3 is totally not fair because 1v2 is sooo much easier than 1v3. Think about it

After u receive ur LP and u heard the sound of receiving LP , it should be show you the animation of how much positions you lost/won on the ladder. ( inc sound )
Currently this is completely cancelled. However, if you press TAB you will see/hear it. Pressing TAB again will trigger it again & again.

Why do you only know that you were "master of the match" when you have been reconnected back to the lobby?
Isnt that strange?

When the map is finished and everbody receives his LP, then you should show who is the master (and maybe even give him extra LP.)
I was playing Battle yesterday (Battle maximus to help NADEO) and there I saw those little notifications after each map. ( best capturer: playername, best attacker: playername, most hits: playername)
Well, do something like that to show who's master for Elite:MatchMaking.
