The envi looks nice and I'm sure the gameplay will be fine, too, but I cant figure out how the map-sharing stuff will work in SM. In TM you can build your map and you can test it alone. SM is a multiplayer game, so if you created your map, how can you be sure it's well balanced? And more important, how can you promote it? You can probably share it via Manialink and ManiaExchange, but you cant really judge a map while playing alone, at least I guess that. It would be useless to share it that way. The map needs to be played by several people. Therefore it needs to be on a server. But again, how can you promote your map so it will be picked up by a server? I don't think the hosters would accept any map-submission.

Shootmania powaa , Shootmania powaa, Shootmania powaa!

From what I have seen in this video, the gameplay looks like oldschool FPS (Quake III Arena :D ) , and that's exactly what I wanted! THanks Hylis and Nadeo! :1010

It looks really interesting, that's for sure. But, like so many people have said, I'm curious how maptesting will work, given that SM is even more MP focused than TM2...

The pictures are wonderful! The Nadeo should get a VGA! I am not joking.
I can not wait for the first video with the first shooting. The mood itself already brings the atmosphere of suspense! It certainly will buy one.

Here's all the blocks that were shown during the presentation (pieced together from screenshots):

Edit: I missed some blocks. I'll be updating it shortly.

Edit: Okay, it's updated.

I've also made a Gallery of 61 stills extracted from the presentation. They're taken from the 720p mp4 from dailymotion.

Here's also a short video showing only the clips of the player's view.

Good question. I'm also curious about "Action Maker" shown in this screenshot. :?:

easy: It's a prisoner launcher  when you've go no guns but prisoners, just throw it to your opponent

action maker, I think it's about creating solo mission: I don't know where but I hear that Hylis said that you could create mission like shooting targets, something created by a player and played by others in solo, with medals ans all ...that's what I think cause it's a podium with medals :D
