Hi Doc,

The only issue having no face on the other side is a lightmap issue : you may have artifacts (lit texels on places that shouldnt be lit) on the edges of your lonely face and depending on the situation, these can be more or less visible

Hello ! I think that's exactly what Miss said : the transparency channel (Alpha channel) here controls the Shininess of the texture. Hi Harest, This is a normal result. Custom Materials are not embeddable and the red material is a fallback when the game has troubles to load a material in an item. That's why unfortunately if you want to use custom materials, you'll need to give the Mat files or make a titlepack so people can play ...

Hello Harest, I checked quickly what the problem was and it comes from both of your Arena item (the Tube is okay) : they have bad lightmaps. This may happen because of overlapping edges or faces, non well connected faces, etc. I wonder why the lightmap calculator is confused by these... For example,...

Hello Harest,

I downloaded your item, modified something (moved one face), and saved it
The saving process was long due to all the faces it contains and cos calculating lightmaps on it is hard since lots of faces are not merged
Nevertheless, it took like 30s but saved without any prooblem.
