Re: [TUTORIAL] How to use the new Deformation tool
Is there currently any way to change the behavior of the deformation curve from the usual ´S`-looking curve? I know you could technically stretch it but you always end up with some form of completed s-bend in every segment you make. For example upward turns always realign themselves instead of tran...

Question about flat planes etc.
Most of the time when i make a flat block, be it a curve or whatever, i always copy/paste and then invert the texture under it, even if its not seen on the map. I do this because previously i have suspected that clipping a lot of flat blocks into one another that doesnt have a texture on the other s...

Re: Magnet items without titlepack / custom textures
is he refering to the standard texture that just accellerates you or the one with the super magnet property which prevents you from falling of? ive been willing to try that supermag one but its not put on a material in the ingame editor so you have to make a custom material (which means more downloa...

*can not edit item because it is embedded into the map file*?
Is there any way to get around this? Some of the custom items im working on are not finished yet but because i put them on the map (for meassurement references etc) and saved the map (without validating it) i can no longer edit them. Also, for some reason my items ended up in the crash log folder (t...

Re: [TUTORIAL] How to use the new Deformation tool
Would it be possible to add a function to this tool that makes the curve more homogeneous?. Instead of each added step making its own S curve the steps would work as if they where one curve. Kind of hard to explain, but when you try to make corkscrews with the current tool you end up with a janky co...

Re: Anyone know how custom textures work in mesh editor?
Not sure how to attach screenshots on this forum. Everything has to go through maniapark or a corresponding image host site as far as im aware(might be wrong on that though but not really sure how to go about it). Btw, the thing you mentioned about the 2d grass being rendered makes me wonder if this...

Re: Anyone know how custom textures work in mesh editor?
On the subject of textures, what causes some custom block UV´s to have straight lines for shadows? Is this just the fast computing or have i messed up my items somehow? also, sometimes when you compute lightning you suddenly get a lot of fps drops and im not sure if the line shadow blocks are the c...

Re: Anyone know how custom textures work in mesh editor?
Now that's interesting. I could probably give it a try sometime but as of now im stuck working on a rather monsterous map(which hopefully wont be too bloated on the coppers side given the sort of crude but decent detail).
