After a few hours, the connection was mysteriously detected (no changes made to the computer).

I just loaded TM2 for the first time after install. the ManiaPlanet launcher claims that I am not online. However, this is just not true (I just downloaded the files, and am posting to this forum from the same computer). I had been connected to VPN but tried disconnecting this and it had no effect. ...
