I erased this map from the server : https://tm.mania-exchange.com/s/tr/118582
Then I skipped 2 maps.
I wanted to add that erased map again : /admin add 118582
Results in : map unknown.
Next map to play unknown.
But it doesn't play the map.
I looked the map up in the /list , and its there.
So I juked it again wich ends up in map unknown.
Normal canyon map with a normal map name.

Re: MX map problems
This is the same issue I reported with this thread: viewtopic.php?f=522&t=41970&sid=193cb0c ... 6438f53f3e
I thought I'd fixed it, but I haven't, I'm fairly sure it's a bug now-I did exactly the same thing you did (other than the skipping maps bit - erase, change map, attempt to re-add), and I get the same problem.
I've been fixing by doing the following:-
1) Manually remove "Unknown" track from Jukebox - it never clears otherwise.
2) Stop dedicated server
3) Find the map in matchsettings.txt and manually remove it
4) Find the map in UserData/Maps/MX/Stadium and delete in
5) Delete the entry from the MySQL DB table uaseco_maps.
6) Restart server
You should then be able to re-add track.

Re: MX map problems
Hehe no worries-I wasn't complaining about it-there's a workaround so not end of world
Incidentally, slightly off-topic but, I've always wondered why you have to do a "/admin writemaplist" after an "/admin add"? I know it's always been like that, but I've never found a situation where you wouldn't want to do a writemaplist, but encountered many times where Admins have forgot to do it! Why can't it automatically do the writemaplist after an add (or erase for that matter)?

Re: MX map problems
Never do that , admin writemaplist. I always believed that it will be written to the maplist.txt . And ofcourse there is a function for autosave, look into rasp.xml file. ( I think )

Re: MX map problems
Ah cool thx will take a look

I'm still not sure why you would not do a "/admin writemaplist" after adding a new map though as it gets "lost" after a restart
