Good Morning to All! I'm having a hard time putting the manialive to work, I'm not getting the resources required to install PECL + Json, could someone help me?
Or if possible, is there any PHP installation package with these resources in place?
Thank you and hope you can help me.
Big Hugs to all!

And the answer depends on your OS entirely. On windows, it's incredibly easy, even without all the all-in-one webserver packages like EasyPHP (stay away from xampp -- it can get a bit messy). On *nix, it all depends on which flavor, which distro, and what repo's you have enabled. But even if you need to compile it from source, it's hardly the most complicated thing you'll ever do while running a tmf server.

Still, no need to ask, moderation happens very quickly here in general...

Re: PHP problem
On windows, it can't be simpler (outside of *nix's install managers for extensions).. To spare you the effort of having to download and unzip the php 5.3 windows package, create a config file, and download/install/enable a few extensions; I'll put together a quick little package all set to go. You'd just have to unzip it somewhere and edit the ML batch script, putting in the filepath to where you unzipped php.
If you plan on expanding to eventually have a records database, a website, or using RemoteCP; I'd recommend you go with a portable web server package. Using them is as simple as unzipping a file and running the control program to start apache or mysql when needed (no installation of system services, no chance of borking your windows installation). Here's a list of a few popular freeware packages: http://www.pendriveapps.com/software/po ... b-servers/

Re: PHP problem
This should do the trick:

Should have all the extensions you'd ever need (pretty sure json is part of the php core now); just check the php.ini and remove the semicolon in front of an extension name to enable it if needed.

Re: PHP problem
Nocturne,
Thank you for the help, already downloaded the PHP package, not yet made the new configuration, tomorrow I will make another attempt.
Keep you informed on the progress of the installation.
Thank you so much!
