[B0] Several Systemcrashes when in Canyon Menu

After the update i got several crashes when i was just checking the menu in Canyon. When those crashes appear i have a total lockup where a ctrl-alt-del wont even work. My vid driver is the Catalyst Software 12.6 Suite from AMD from 28-6-2012 and i am not sure it is total MP 2.0 related. Although it only seems to appear in MP 2.0 Canyon and not in several other games. For example i crashed at changing the keys in the input menu in Canyon or just browsing the servers in the world. In the attached zip i added to dedilogs.

I hope it can be solved soon.

Good luck with all the good and hard work, because this really was a D-Day for Nadeo and on those days not everything can be perfect, but most things seem to be working fine :thumbsup:

If I understand right, your whole system freeze (no longer respond), you don't get a blue screen and ctrl-alt-del does not work.
Well, we've a way to detect game freeze, but not full system freeze :?
Can you try to use windowed mode (or windowed full) ?
If the game no longer respond but the system does, you can execute the game launcher, it'll ask you to kill the game (with freeze informations logged in a crash log file).

Maybe your driver driver has crashed: please search for a "DRIVER CRASH" string in the whole game log.
(The game should be able to recover from driver crash)

Thx Luckyboy for your respond.

The whole system crashes in full windowed mode, because i like to see as much of the whole beautiful game as possible :D . I am then no longer be able to use anything, such as a mouse, or use the crtl alt del buttons to go to my task manager. It just stays on the menuscreen and i cannot move anything at all.

When i am back at home (now i am at my lunchbreak at work) i will try if i get the same crashes in windowed mode.
When it then happens again i am sure the system itself will respond so i will be able to send you a freeze log file.
I will also search for a driver crash string in the whole game log, because as you said a videodriver crash could cause this problems as well. If that would be the case we have to send the info to AMD so they could fix their unstable driver ;) Thx for your help.

It happened again in windowed mode :o I couldnt do anything again, including ctrl alt del or anything at all.
I added the complete log file. I am still suspecting my vid driver for my ati 6970 who causes the trouble.

It may be helpful if a computer spec list was compiled for those having the crashes. It may very well just be an AMD driver problem, but we shouldn't assume that. Thus far, I've had no crashes in SM nor TM2 thus far, though I'll do some testing to make sure.

Btw, @OP about how long does it run before crashing?

I downgraded my viddriver to AMD 12.4 to see if my crashes are driverrelated.
Unfortunately i now even crashed in game.
I will send my logfile to Nadeo to see if they can find something wich causes my crashes.
