My two Servers allso crashs every 2 - 5 hours. Last start yesterday 18.00 o'clock. The crash comes on 21:25.

There are no infos in the Logfile of the Server and the Xaseco2.

I hate this situation. Because i dont know what i shoud do.

This version will generate logs.

i think it´s something about maniaplanet, but for my understanding the maniaplanet is just a manager.
should be easy and simple.
the title what you call are just environements which worked fine on tmuf without packs.

driving thru walls is not possible as I know!

Probably you don't know much about TM2 so I'm going to explain it for you as far as I can.

You already mentioned the new environment, yeah, but that's not all. TM2 is by far no clone of TM1, its a much more advanced version in terms of graphics and physics overall.
You have visual collision damage (client side) on your cars - which requires more accurate calculations like where did your car hit the wall or the border, whatever...
Also, as mentioned earlier in this thread, the dedicated.pak also contains several stuff to support the upcoming Shootmania:Storm with the same dedicated server. (requires more space but only one program to maintain/update for NADEO -> profit)

Thats why the TMUF dedicated servers needed way less space. Less things to compute, less things to integrate.
By adding new features you also have to do compromises, it cannot be helped unfortunately.

Edit: Also, you see ManiaPlanet as a launcher for the games, right? From my point of view, you could call ManiaPlanet the engine for all the Maniaplanet games (TM², Shootmania, Questmania) in terms of graphics, map/replay editor and of course the social "network" Maniahome. It could basically be described as a platform that provides the basics for the games and allows an easy cross-game interaction with your friends and the community.

E.g.: "Oh User XY has created a new campaign for Questmania, lets try that... and oh, there's this platform mode for TM² I wanted for such a long time, let's download that from Manialink YZ"

A platform for the community driven by the community. That's what ManiaPlanet is.

Hello fellows!

1st: I had no problem porting my TMCanyon Servers from MP1 to MP2beta - good jobs here! (although I had the /title=TMCanyon problem... needed to put it in first place, not at the end of RunSrv.sh)

2nd: I struggle setting up a ShootMania server. I changed everything important and concerning matchsettings I didnt changed a thing, just standart Royal settings from the download.

You need to give the name of the script in the MatchSettings :

- I don´t profit here! I will never run shoot or quest server, but with quest our dedicated packs will grow more?
