Binding the ALT key

I've bound the left ALT key to move backwards, but it seems to have some hardwired binding to show the scoreboard which stops it from working.

Can you remove this hidden binding please?

or actually list it as a binding for the scoreboard alongside the tab key and make it so it just works like any other key.

I have the same problem, would like to bind ALT to strafe right but I can't because it's hardcoded to the scores, is there a way to fix it through scripts or config files?

SM doesn't have console nor config files.
