Beta not connecting to servers due to UDP?

Hey

When I try to start a game on any server, sometimes a message pops up saying how UDP is not working and therefore only TCP will be used. However, after that, or with servers where that message isn't shown, the game fails to connect to the server.

Can anyone help?

Perhaps the ports are busy or still have timeout so they can't be reused immediately.
It also depends on your router and firewalls how many ports can pass through.

While that may actually be the issue, it doesn't tell me how to fix it any more than the error itself.

I appear to be having this problem as well, I guess. Firstly all the servers have 350+ ping, which doesn't make any sense, I do live in Taiwan but even to the east coast of the US I get 300 or less. Then sometimes when I join a server it gives me the firewall message.

When I connect to a server, it loads for a long time before saying the game was interrupted, returning to menu. A few times I've gotten in but the game seemed to be totally empty (Even though there WERE people inside) and I never got to play before getting kicked out with that same 'game interrupted' message.

I've temporarily disabled my firewall and it didn't help, also checked my ports were open and my router's settings.

EDIT: So I bypassed my router and it was working good, now even through the router. Today though, it's lagging awfully, so consistently that I'm not really sure whether it's general lag or really constant lag spikes.
