Uninstalling Shootmania Beta

Hi guys,

How can I remove only Shootmania Beta from my system?
Would like to keep my Trackmania...

if you let SM beta and the TM update in the same directory as TM already was...
then first do a backup of your maps, skins etc., uninstall everything, and install TM fresh, this should do it.

i hope someone else has a better idea

Single-click on the ShootMania station, and press the 'Delete' button on you keyboard. Confirm the removal, and you're done

lol this only removes the item from the station but not from the disk, right?

@TMarc - thanks but I'm keeping that solution for last

@mistertl - tried that. I get "This station cannot be unloaded"...

So basicly no easy way of uninstalling shootmania. Yeah new users are gonna love that "feature"

A solution for the moment it's to remove manually all ShootMania and SMStorm files in C:\ProgramData\ManiaPlanet\PacksCache.

which ones..there are few files that I'm not sure If I should delete or not. Do I risk the game (trackmania) being unusable after deleting shootmania files?

I would have thought there might be an uninstaller already. It's surprised me to find that's not the case. An extracting install package was offered at beta stage, without the means to remove it after use. That's unusual.

yea, best bet is not installing in the first place
ManiaPlanet should stick with cars
not impressed in the least
Unreal Tournament 2004 is 8 years old and blows the doors off shootmania
UT 2004 has thousands of servers, thousands of maps, better graphics,
mods for the game out the wazzu, more game types(deathmatch, capture the flag, assault, etc).
PLUS it has vehicles!! AND as a digital download it is cheaper

not a promo for ut 2004, but just thought I'd give my 2 cents worth
