[Elite mode] Matchmaking, Lobby system & Team Ranking/Ladder

As this game is going to be the next big FPS eSport.. Hopefully.. I really hope it does! I'm curious to know how easy it will be find competitive matches for players & teams. Elite mode will obviously be a step up from the casual side of the game, I think it would be great to have some easy in game management for this. Heres what I would like to see in ShootMania.. assuming none of it is already done or WIP!

Matchmaking/Lobby system

Wouldn't this be great ?? Instantly get into a game with your friends/team who you practice with and fight against another team. Just create a lobby invite your friends/opponents, Add your server address and have the lobby system configure it remotely for Elite mode. Easy private scriming! Basically TF2 Lobby SM Style

Team Ranking/Ladder

A team ladder would be pretty cool to see in the game, that way you could track how well you team is doing at winning matches. See who is #1 team ect.

Would anyone one else like to see this kinda thing in ShootMania ? I definitely do!

Yes, a team ladder score is a good idea, but, if a person stop to play shootmania, he / she will be hurt the team.

I know it would be hard to implement, but a simple system like DOTA/HoN but for SM would be AMAZING and would keep the game going for years.

For example be able to queue up either solo or with a team, then you are paired up with a team of similar match making rating for you to play against. You could have an option for what region you want to play with (e.g. can tick US west or tick US east or both, Australia only, or tick which parts of Europe they want to play with)

After the the game they will lose/gain points depending on if they win/lose and how big the skill difference is.

This is yet to be done in a FPS, and I have been waiting a long time to see it.

Thats a great Idea. Elite mode with Ladder Matchmaking like Starcraft2 with Leagues (Diamond, Plat, Gold etc) would really amazing.

Many players can take each other on simultaneously! The "matchmaking" system allows players to easily connect to a server on their level, whether for pure enjoyment or competition.

i wonder wich matchmaking system they mean?

asfar as i see it its atm just a server browser!

so a statement regarding that "system" from nadeo would be awesome!
its no flame or smt its just "funny" or "sad" (depends on the context you wanna see) that you promote the game with a matchmaking system when there is none!
