Sorry if I have the wrong section, I looked everywhere.
Processor: AMD FX-8150 (10-15% usage ingame)
RAM: 8GB (3 unused)
GPU: HD6970 (12-15% usage ingame)
Motherboard: Crosshair V Formula / ThunderBolt
Monitor: 1920x1080 @ 120hz
I get 19-25FPS in 40-50 player servers while others are getting 100FPS with worse hardware. There doesn't appear to be any bottlecaps, all cores of my CPU are at least 50% free, my GPU is barely used and there isn't much I/O. I've even tried overclocking with no benefit.
I believe it's related to networking code or perhaps the players animations because whenever the server lags and all the players freeze in place on my screen, my FPS increases to ~100. With a 16 player server I can get maybe 45-70fps, no where near my monitor's refresh rate of 120hz.

Unchecked everything under peertopeer and peertopeer-advanced.Omnixor wrote:launcher - configure - advanced - peertopeer - advanced - uncheck all checkboxes - try again.
I have 30fps with 51 players now. I don't know if the settings improved it or not or if it's just the map. Either way, something's still wrong. I've also tried both 56K and 10MB connection settings in launcher.
