First try at a map (ut-99 Morpheus)

So I spent a few hours making a old map from ut99. Didnt turn out amazing but for a first try I think its nb. Server is up and running. Feel free to come dl or play the map :) Im going to be porting as many Quake3/ut99 maps as I can over the next few months.

I really hope more gets added to the map maker. I could see me spending weeks in there making maps, its a lot of fun. Plus the fact you can inport skins/textures/sounds and make your own plugins. Check it out

Biggest issue is the lower areas need some cover from the rail gun. Prob will add some random rocks here and there for that.

Ok so I set off with the intent of making a Indoor map. Reason being for that was 2 guys where arguing in a server about how the game couldn't 'do' indoor maps. After some testing I found its actually very easy to do so. Problem is atm in beta there are not many 'options' for underground sections and the textures are few and far between. So I thought hmmmmmm, why not make a awesome outdoor map with a railgun on a very high tower. Sounds basic right. Nope :D The only way there is to head underground and make your way to a jump pad to boost yourself up there.

Op railgun your now thinking right? nope. I 'tried' to layout the lower areas in a fashion that would provide alot of cover and movement to avoid the railgun. But not so much that it makes it worthless. Yea its no perfect map but for my 2nd attempt I feel its awesome. Its really just two concepts from UT2004 maps thrown together. I have taken a screenshot or 2 to give you a small idea. As well as have shot a very small video (map has changed a bit since it was made). The dl link will be below. DL it yourself and play with some friends. I tested it with 11 players and it was great. 1-4 players it might be a tad to large for. But 6+ and the actions going down!

*Public Service Announcement: This map was made VERY fast (1-2 hours). This is not a good representation of what can be done in the map editor. There are many hard working skilled map makers who will spend weeks/months before we even get a taste of there maps. Take this for what it is.

Feel free to leave suggestions/bugs/problems (or tactical issues like not enough cover or something) below and have fun fragging!

N64Goleneye-STACK (With underground and music)

This is the Classic map "Stack" from the popular N64 title 007 Goldeneye. The top floor mirrors the map as close as it can really get(with current tools in beta). There is a spot here and there that needs fixing but overall if anyone who played Goldeneye jumped into this map without being told what it was. Within seconds they would be like "ow this is stack".

The lower area just turned out like crap. At first I tired to mirror it as close as I could to the game. Issue was atm with the current tools it just couldn't really be done 100%. So instead of waiting "x" days for better tools I just added my own setup. It has some large rooms with pillars (like in the old game) to gunfight and the other hallways just lead in a maze confusing the fuck outta you (just like in the old game haha ^_^). Ow and the entrances are in the same spots as the original ;)

I also added some tunes from the old game for that nostalgia vibe. Give it a try and let me know what you think

Keeping with my trend I ported another classic map to Shootmania. This time its the popular map for Quake 3 commonly played on CTF. Remember the space level with all the jump pads, rail gun in the middle? I had to change a few locations but the overall feel of the map and gameplay style is the same. To date I feel this is my best port yet but let me know in the comments below. Enjoy

First fully playable map I've made, so do let me know if I've fucked something up and the spawns / goal don't work as intended. Should provide some interesting gameplay. Appreciate any and all testing/feedback.
