Hi Awpteamoose,

I'm the vampire, i can use the RailGun, my friend in front of me is the hunter and can use Rockets, but the tag "Vampire" is on my friend.

Another thing : when i'm spawned, i don't know i'm the vampire because i have not the time to read the massage that say "player is the vampire!".

Just see you make a "SpeedBall" mode, i'll try this tonight, coool !! :thumbsup:

running a 20slots vampire server and it bugs out and resets the round sometimes when someone leaves.

Oh and the vampire marker seems to be bugged.

Also, after someone leaves it seems it can trigger a bug where the hunter that kills the vampire gets skipped. Maybe the pointer is one step wrong or something.


And finally as a suggestion. Try scaling the guns. Like really rapipd reloadrate for single hunter and only one ammo for the vampire. :)

Maybe give the vampire more ammo when +10 players 8-)

Going to bed now but I'll re'dl and update the script tomorrow so I know I'm running the latest. It's a insanly fun gamemode when you are a bunch on mumble screaming and chasing eachother. :3

This mode hasn't been worked on for like ever because Moose has been focusing on Speedball. This was more or less his "learning stuff" gamemode for Shootmania, so there's still bugs/weird stuff/balance issues within.

Weapon suggestions probably aren't going to go through. A single hunter being powerful defeats the purpose of the mode (you should probably play Beast instead), and lowering railgun ammunition makes it too difficult for the Vamp, especially at range.

He'll see this later today in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES and will probably have more insight than me.

Point of ammo changes when only 2 players is to balance it. A rail is good enough against any amount of rockets on most melee maps. 3 quick rails is way to overpowered when there are few players.
It just makes the server very hard to fill upp. As it is now it starts getting balanced around 5-7 players, depending on skills and map obviously.

I picked up this mod again. Started tweaking and fixing the bugs in the script.
I'm not done yet but a server is up and running. Check under Sweden and custom gamemode and you will see it if you want to test it.

What differs most is that you can also spawn as BomberBoy with a nuclues or a Gimp with crappy rocket but lots of armour. If you want to see a small introduction check the youtubeclip.

Oh and I will start a new topic for it when I think I got the features I want.

Kinda hard to find good maps that work for it thou :P
