Being unable to play offline was the case with beta 4 too. Why? I guess Nadeo wants to collect as many data as they can. I'm also guessing the next full version will work as expected.

Asked before: Any idea when I will get the LAN version of the TrackMania Canyon back?

I have a club with all users using TMU until ready. Rather wait than fool with major version control. Too many games, too many players in the club.

I can't tell you when the lan mode will be back however you can play in lan mode by installing MP 1.0. Please look at this topic to get the download link

it was reported as a bug, as far as I remember. so it's gonna be fixed

Well, hard to believe its a bug when it is announced with a message box like that......
Its a lot more likely that it is a new Nadeo policy of some kind, that will hit players like me deadly hard in my every day player life. Also when I have my vacation in norway, coz there I have a dial up prepaid network only, and prefer not to be online most of the day to save money....

I could of course install MP1 again, but for me as a MX player, it would not work anymore, as MX no longer accept replays from MP1.

Changes like this force me to look for other games to play, that will allow me to play offline as well as online. And IF I find something I like and that will "HOOK" me like trackmania have done, then its very unlikely that I will return to MP ever again. And I want my money back, for my game and for the two I bought for my GF and her daugher, coz I bought games WITH both online AND OFFLINE mode, and if it is the case that NADEO, for whatever reason, cut this of, then it is no longer what i payed for....

We have our priorities for development and LAN will be back later. Maniaplanet 1 is with LAN and if a site in not compatible with it, it is far from being a limitation from the software.

I know the current situation requires patience, but it is made to enable TrackMania 2 Canyon to be updated in the future alongside ShootMania software. It is made to enable better bridges between players and creations from them. it is made to prepare things for the game you should be able to see later, like modes or object importer, when it is done.

Meanwhile, improve your priorities Nesrally and stop advertising to drink in your signature please. Thanks.

Just a note. Forzyy told me MP1.0 replays do work with MX again. So that's a non-issue.

Look, if even Omnixor is optimistic that offline mode will be fixed, I think that's a good indication he has a good reason to be optimistic about that.
