ReInstall Oddness [Solved]

What happened?

Ok so today i put in a Brand new Intel SSD with that in the works i decided i was going to move Mania Planet and all its content to the New SSD as my old one was getting a tad full and my personal and common data were on an old mechanical drive
So in all locations as far as i know, i was sure do delete all traces the old install including all personal data, saves maps ect
So IMO 100% wiped

Now ive reinstalled Storm and Canyon from some fresh downloads from my player page to be sure ive all the latest updates without the hassle of updating once the games are installed
Ok so the installation has gone fine, that isnt my grumble so to speak
G:\Games\ManiaPlanet
G:\ManiaPlanet personal Data
G:\ManiaPlanet Common Data

What has actually puzzled me is after i launched Mania Planet and input my details into "I already have an account" i was never asked to input my Multiplayer keys!

From previous experience with new installations iv always been prompted to input my player key, so my question is...
Did i miss out an important folder that contains the activation keys or by entering my details into "I already have an account" trigger some sort of on-line account authentication?

Your playerkeys are required only one time, after you just need your login, password and validation code (for planets). But if you forgot your validation code, you will need your playerkey to generate a new one.

One more question regarding the above, would this mean that i could enter my details into a friends computer and play from there?

of course. it was always possible, even in TMUF

Without question..... but its a good piece of information to know that i could still play while away from home
