Unlike Trackmania 2, Shootmania needs an active community in every corner of the world to succeed, you can't play it with more then 100 ping. So when people come on the forums to offer feedback on the game, maybe try something other then being a jackass if you feel you need to respond.
Thank you. If ShootMania's community isn't welcoming and polite, then it's already dead.

First of all I think normally this community is completely welcoming and I think the negativity comes from a lot of people complaining about a lot of points of the game that most of us have no issues with at all.

About the graphics: For me the graphics look pretty much exactly like the in the trailer. I would try playing around with the graphic settings. I have everything really high, so I am not sure about lower settings.

unresponsive: I don't have this at all. I play at 70 fps and about 40-50 ping 90% of the time. There are very few servers with lag for me, but some of my friends have been complaining about lag on servers with a lot of people more often. Of course these things should be optimized, but the game works really well for me (and I assume for all the people in this topic)

gameplay:
It consists of running round like a lunatic shooting haphazardly and hoping the shot finds it's mark
At the beginning this might seem like the best strategy. However in my experience just shooting randomly brings the least results. I try to wait for the enemy to jump as you cannot dodge much while in the air. Most of the time I try to shoot only 1-2 shots if I think I can hit him. Being without ammo in a good situation is really frustrating and can be deadly.

All that being said, there are a lot more realistic shooters that do not have this type of fast gameplay and it seems a little like you are looking for a shooter like that. I love this type of gameplay, but if you don't then that is ok perhaps this game is just not the right one for you. Just stick around a little more there is a lot more depth to it.

Even if your not impressed about the game, I am. This game is freakin awesome! Its exactly what I want in a game. Purely skill based! Not perks and other shits like that and OP weaponds and so on! Here everyone have the same weaponds and all that and its purely skill based! It cant get better then this!

I have severely criticized the game a few months ago, and today I ask to take that back. I also have performance problems, thanks to my computer. Today is my last day of beta, and I say was the most amazing game I've ever seen, considering that it is futuristic.
We can not compare ShootMania with any other game. ShootMania has its own style, TF2 has its different style, BF too.
Watch this video to the end, he sums up what I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2SUMdaLFb0&feature=plcp
CPU: Ryzen 7 2600; Video: GeForce 1070; RAM: 16GB; also known as The Lil' Electricity Bill Booster. In-game as <MATKS95>
