Hidden block?

So i was freecaming in some of Nadeo's tracks because im trying to learn how to make good tracks...
And then on A06 i encounter this.

A kind of metal fenced wall under the blocks..
So then i entered to see if i could find it, and yes i know you can get that effect by putting them on the ground.
But, if you look closely there is no way to have it go that high up. It's alot bigger than i manage to do.
So im really confused, i may be a stupid bread. But if anyone knows if this is a hidden block or not, please tell me.
