Everybody pays the same amount in proportion of Planets, and by the end of the month, the depot made for servers will be diminished as well. It is a percentage computed on the amount of planets in circulation. The server depot was fiscal paradise that we were aware could be used to escape community responsabilities but tought it would be longer before people use this. Haha, I think that we have a good social labotary here ^^

It is better than the 10% tax system, or accorded to the amount of planets in order to stabilize since it increase the dynamism of the economy. You can make a tournament, ask for planets at the inscription, give the planets back without having to pay 10% each time.

You are right if EP have no recognition. But it is the opposite in our eyes and will try to make it look like so. We may offer things to high EP points or provide them with services on the occasion.

This 'at least' is very important for me. Today, people pay taxes in order to hire teachers, doctors, police forces, judges, build roads, bridges, hospital and schools. But they don't have a certificate. So, people sometimes have a strange reading. Instead of looking at how much money people have and sometimes hate them, it is better to look at how much taxes they have paid to know how they contributed. I know there are other topics, like the way they can win money, but at least, fiscal paradise and people who escape taxes would fire in their own foot.

The problem here though is that you are reducing the amount of "currency" in circulation, but the "price" of things doesn't change. The best example is for server ladder upgrades. It can take a long time to save enough to get a higher ranked server, but you will keep taking the planets away from us.
If EPs were able to be used to buy Nadeo services like ladder upgrades it wouldn't so much of an issue, assuming of course that the exchange rate for planets to EPs then resulted in a corresponding price change for ladder servers when purchased with EPs

I can dig the idea that ladder depot for high ranked servers can be equal to the custom ladder price minus your EP points. And if you break the rules of the ladder, we would reduce the EP points of the creator. It would be a good illustration of how to give advantage with EP points: you contribution is acknowledged, so our need for 'thrust' is lower.
Maybe EP points can reduce the price of TAGs as well. This is an interesting path.

the thing is: last time i was asked by a player why i still reduce nadeo tax from bets. the point is: still the taxes are real,
so what does this mean for a lets say 10 planets bet from 4 people ?
Player thinks okay, i pay 10 planets and have a chance to win 40 planets.

4 x 10 = 40 + (4 x 10 planets) for transaction = 80 planets for players ?
on win then 40 planets to payout from server , means +10 planets = 50 planets cost for server ?
if thats real, the player wins only 20 planets in real instad of 40 ?
and still server has to pay more then 40 to get at least the transaction costs out for the winner ?
i changed the settings, so server has to pay the taxes, and they are still there, so atm we have to pay double for transactions, and then of course for having planets on months end or whenever. Also when people donate, its ment for ladder servers, we dont even know how many % of the storaged planets are taken when the tax day comes.
also: do we allready gain planets for visited servers ? i mean - no ?

if a server does not at least payout 10 % from income to its players, it gets taxed. if server pays out enough to other players, it gets EP , just talking about serveracounts. For - personal acounts , i am completly with your idea.

Cost per transaction is not a tax, it is a cost of service. It should be more seen as a state monopole that try to balance his cost than a tax. When taxes where included in transaction, it was easy to know that people would limit the number of transaction. In the 0% tax case, we had to put a limit in the number of transactions, that we deeply log, backup, track etc.
If there are cases that are really annoying, please describe it to us. Since it is per player, it is up to the player to pay the tax normally, but not the player.
Yes, I have just checked again the notification into the base. Many servers get 0 planets, so they don't have it, but maybe fifty to hundred get some planets and some get hundreds of planets per day. It is based on popularity.

can we have a view to check out how many planets a server gets ?
i own one of the platform servers, which is, not the best running title, but in 3 weeks i got more then 1780 unique players, (so far it seems mostly the only PF server that got (m)any visitors) so i wonder how much is income and how much is tax then on monthend.
and for the transfer costs:
if i understand it right, a 10 planets transaction would cost then 10 planets transaction costs as extra ?
(you transact 10 planets and pay 20 ?)
question to that is becaue i run a minigame which pay between 7 and 15 planets nearly each round.
if i have to pay 10 planets on payout of 7 planets , i must change something in this game.

the transaction is limited to 3 per players, so if you game ask the player to receive the planets, he should not be prompted with cost until it is his third of the day. I am not really fond of this "cost per transaction" thing. We may have to find something else. It is mainly a protection to avoid server heavy requests, but we will see.

it seems , i payed 10 % tax on monthend, but did not get any planets for visitors.
also ido have nothing from ep my server maybe gets when the tax is payed of the server.
i personall got 70 ep, because i dont use to have all the planets on my personal account, but on the srver acount.
