When this map is in the playlist, clicking on "Add new maps" doesn't work anymore.
The page stays in the loading state.
Removing the map from the playlist fixes the problem.

Yes I noticed maps that contain some special characters in their filename seem to crash the page.
You can rename the file before uploading it while it is hopefully being fixed.

Will be fixed in next release, the special character in filename was interpreted as a double quote in JS (which makes it crash...)
Btw, your report makes me found other bugs related to special characters on Windows (and a bug in WinSCP but I can't do anything for this one )

Truely nice and easy to handle if you know what you need to alter.

Quite handy tool if you want fast access to the server and want to enable or disable stuff.

Is it possible to add a security level to allow to upload maps?

Maybe the possibility to have the managers rights for all servers with the upload.

We already planned some time ago to have a better rights' system but we wanted to add features first. After next release, I think we should be able to start thinking about it.
So yes, it will be possible but later.

I am not 100 % shure if this is the right thread, but as i ve seen here the problems with special chars also appear so hear my little wishlist:

about double quotes and special chars:
many of this chars are issuing heavy problems with servercontrollers and or saving maps / loading maps at least.
i would appreciate when at least following chars are forbidden ingame as name or mapname:

double quote (")
quote (')
slash (/)
backslash(\)
i am pretty shure there are much more that will cause problems.

We're releasing today version 1.5! Everything is still not here, but there is more and more feature.

So, what does this 1.5 features compared to 1.4:

• You can now start and configure ManiaLive (version 2.4 or higher) for any server you want
• Stop deleting unreachable servers
• Improve chat display
• Many bugs or typos fixed and many tiny improvements...

We know it's still missing a lot of features but they'll come
