Condemned? What are you talking about? Did you even bother to read my posts without some thin skin big ego goggles? I was very clear in what I found the problems to be and how to fix them, how much more constructive neutral feedback do you want?TMarc wrote:And you don't see that you have condammed it in advance without giving it a real chance![]()
Again showing you haven't even read my feedback, there was no mention of some "perfect" fps, no mention of wanting it like any other game, but I did mention I'm playing it and told you what I think. I mentioned the glaring problems specific to SHOOTMANIA in a non confrontational yet straightforward way.TMarc wrote:Nadeo never claimed it would be a "perfect" FPS, and what is "perfect" after all.
If you are looking for something like a CS or Quake or Doom clone, you are totally wrong, because SM is a totally different style of game. Try it and then tell what you think. But only from some ads, screenshots and ingame videos you can't really judge.
Not once did I mention anything about realism or style.TMarc wrote: It was the same with TrackMania: many people complain about missing realism etc., but it has created its own style.
Love it or hate it.
Nadeo/Ubisoft/ aka Shootmania's problems are poor performance, poor interface, and a constant "THIS GAME IS SO PRO" on every single news PR you throw out there. All, as you mentioned, behind a BETA.You guys are acting like there's some gigantic throng of PRO players winning all these top shootmania tournaments, PROS needing maps, etc. Have a look at your news on http://www.shootmania.com/ once in awhile. I've been and I'm telling you it's embarrassing for you guys when you have all these issues, don't listen to solid feedback, and act like shootmania is the KING of PRO FPS -- few people will want to associate with that kinda misleading garbage, pro or not.
If you cannot discern constructive feedback, maybe it is you who should go away. I mentioned quite clearly you guys aren't listening to us few who are blatently honest, non confrontational, neutral and DO give good feedback.TMarc wrote: I am not against people who have complaints, issues etc. but who also have constructive things to say, and who are willing to give directions on how to improve the game.
If you really hate it, and are not even ready to help to improve it, then please go away, this is very simple.
And it's your kind of replies TMarc that prove it. You obviously got nothing out of my feedback and decided to attack because of your bruised ego. I've been honest and helpful and you've been hostile.
