I have played this gane since TMO, and in the last year in tm2 I cant even find a server with 16 people thats not a "lol"server or a "short track server"
Are you blind and or talking about the same game I play everyday for hours and will do for the foreseeable future? The 1st five pages have busy servers. Most of the 90k servers are always full so I think you are talking out of your you know what. The game isn't dead or dying, it's just been born dude and like anything that's just been born it takes time to grow. Here's some screens I took when I logged in earlier. As you can see it's pretty much the opposite of what a dying game looks like.

I think you proved yourself that the game is dying, lol. PMC server must be the only really active one.then there goes "veryshorts" and "fullspeeds". so the most populated normal server has just 12 people.

it's 1 year old. and you should see yourself that there's no growing activity at all, it only goes down.

90k servers have a max of 12. ergo they are full. I repeat , they are full. I am usually in a queue for about ten minutes to get a slot and sometimes I rage quit because people just aren't leaving.

There is a server there with 80 people on it. Very shorts always has 50ish and the name is misleading because most tracks on it are close to 40 seconds. Dunno much about full speed because I hate boost maps. Either way 5 pages of active servers looks pretty good to me and I fail to see how I proved otherwise. Cheers dude

I have got to go with Omnixor on this I'm afraid. I'm in the UK and its 1.05pm (13.05hrs) and I have just checked all the available servers in the world for players (this does NOT count players 'connected' but not on a server). Result...

Only 111 people playing on a server out of at least 111,987 who bought the game in the last year.

Only 26 servers out of 442 TM2 servers are in use with people playing on them at the moment.

Now THAT is worrying :( We can only hope it improves.

I think that this is a normal situation. What's bothering you? Why need this statistics? If Nadeo not care that question, then obviously the situation is fine.
If this is 'normal' then we are indeed in deep kha-kha ... would you like to work out what percentage 111 is of 111,987? ... Less than 1,000th? and the figure has been falling since last year! not good housekeeping in the business world.

Serverwise, there were nearly 900 servers on TM2 last year. Now only half as many. I'd say statistics DO matter.

Finally, Yes, I think Nadeo do care (not so sure about Ubi tho :x ), otherwise they wouldn't have reduced the price of the game already to encourage people to buy the game. People are trying to make it work but it's falling short of what players want. SM and QM might survive ... We can only hope TM2 perks up.

Tonight which is Monday night, It use to be a big night in TMN and TMUF. I logged into canyon and there where only 83 people playing in the world at 9:38 p.m., that says it all. I love this game but you guys are stalling when it comes to a new enviro, TM2 needs one now before we loose our base of players. This is a great game but you have been too busy with your other opportunities to see it. Platform was another ENVIRO but it was a quick way out you use the same blocks and make a differrent end. Lets get this game rolling again you guys have the power to do that. Thx for a great game but lets make it better like the old days :)
Could be because it is 9:38pm and alot people would be asleep.
Crashing happily since 2009.

Why do you love all count? For Nadeo, this is not a question of paramount importance. They care not about the quantity but the quality. ;)
I beg to differ ... numbers are very important, not only to Nadeo but to us all. You can make the best game in the world but if few people bought it then the development cost would not be met and the game would flop!. Without numbers there would be no way of knowing by what percent (%) players liked/ or dislikes the product. Ignore numbers at your own risk!

Like all people who have a business to run, whether its a games company or a country, bosses only tell people things on a 'need to know basis'. How many times have you heard of a business failing and going into receivership when you had no idea it was going to collapse? The answer is: ... All the time. We don't want Nadeo to fail in TM2 (I don't care about SM and QM, no interest) ... so falling numbers ARE important to us all.

Personally Canyon is my favourite TM environment so far. I think more people need to know about it... I hate to encourage pointless annoying commercials but I think advertising is what TM2 desperately needs -- and Nadeo's Manifesto commercial, no matter how great it is, doesn't replace the need for advertising each title. To be totally honest I know Nadeo can come up with commercials and ads for TM2 that will be creative instead of pointless and annoying, because that sort of thing is in their blood.
When I see Canyon on TV I'll be able to stop worrying about my favourite Trackmania so far... flopping.

Speaking of Canyon on TV, last summer when I was catching up on Doctor Who for the new season this fall, when I saw the intro to The Impossible Astronaut where the characters go to... Utah I think it was... my first thought when I saw the highway was "that's Canyon!". :P True story, as Steve Patterson is so fond of saying.
The eyes of the plush lobster stared deep into my soul. I picked it up, and then I was a panther.
