i got the skin however it doesnt show to other players??

how do I get custom skins and avatars etc to show to other players?

1. you have to allow your skin to be shown to others
2. the others have to allow to see other's skins
Check the P2P settings, and also go to your ingame profile

this is very good. But you also have to allow P2P options (in the ManiaPlanet Launcher, go to configuration, then advanced settings, then PeerToPeer etc.).

I suppose that since he doesn't know about them, he hasn't changed them, and they are on by default. maybe others' internet connection is just too slow and they can't download your skin because of that? ^^

or the firewall (windows, router) are blocking it

Idea: would it be possible to let them also download the skin from ManiaPark and put it in the skins folder?

ill try that we're all on the same line sitting in the same room and checked the settings and everything that should be ticked is ticked so very confused :/ oh well! Thanks anyway
