Registering API Users

If I create an application that will use the Web Services API, do I need to register each of my customers to get an api username/login? Is there a way this is automated? How should this be handled? I am looking to create an app for Nations and Canyon, and Storm.

There is a slight confusion here. You don't register API credentials ; you register API credentials for your application so that users visiting your application can be authentified on your site using the're own ManiaPlanet account. It's exactaly the same technology as Facebook Connect for example.

Thanks. I thought that I might need to register users because of the limited number of calls allowed to the server. Is this the case?

Nop. The limited number of calls is just an hourly limit to avoid our API beeing flooded.
