Played the BETA a while back, key expired. Got sent a new one, and enjoyed it so i bought the game.

One thing puzzles me. The player count, for me at least, is really low. I see about 10 maybe 15 servers that have activity, and spread across them are no more than 50 - 80 players in total.

I just been googling about for info on Shootmania player numbers and theres a whole load of stuff saying its got a huge player base. But for me, theres never more than about 80 people playing this game.

Even TM Canyon player count seems low. Whats the deal?

This game is so awesome, it bugs me to see such a low player count. Am I doing something wrong?

The number of players will increase at the release or the end of the beta.

Keep in mind, also, that the players are spread out between Elite and Storm servers. Depending on the time of day, there may be more players on as well. There are certain "peak" time for North American and EU servers.

It is possible to run a server so that it does not show on the server list. I doubt that many people are doing this, but there is no way to be sure. I don't know how many players are not showing up because of this.
