Hello people!

Well, I bought the ShootMania a few weeks ago, but I can not play it right because of the huge lag.
I'm at least 400 ping. Do not think it's my internet (It is 600kb / s. Here in Brazil, I think this is the lowest level that can be found, and I'm not going to increase for now.), As in other games, I have no problem with my ping.
I think because the game is still in Beta, but it can also be that the server is far away and / or the amount of people in it, because in a server Elite (the only way I can play without lag because it has many servers) I have no lag (even with 6 people.) If I enter a server (Storm) that has 6 people, I get lag.

Oh, and remember that if I am playing in Storm Title and ping is 300, I get lag. Elite now, when my ping is 300, I have no lag.

How can I fix this?

Most servers are located in Europe. I pretty much doubt you can get any kind of decent ping from Brazil, and beta status has nothing to do with it. Try searching the servers that are physically located in Brazil, or at least in neighbouring countries.

Hm...
This is very strange because in Trackmania Nations for example, have played with 40 people on a server in France without any lag ... In the ShootMania, this is impossible, even with 5 people.
And yes,it can be the fact that beta, the multiplayer may not be complete and fully optimized.

in TM there are no collisions, so ping doesn't matter at all.

I have a good news . I Create one server in Brasil\Sul. It´s called Elite Brasil. But because the lack of players, the actually gamemode in this server is DM InstantGib. You Are welcome. But in the release of game, its much important that Nadeo Create a local Server for Brazilian and South American Players At all. Its not fun to buy a great game that you can play only online and dont had server with good ping. Sometimes we can join in North American Servers, but cause lag for the US players, and they kick us from the server. This game is Awesome. But with bad ping its not possible to play.

Can't connect TCP. Ping spikes over 1000ms all the time.
