ManiaPlanet does not start

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed Maniaplanet.
I had some troubles to launch it (when i clicked on "Play" nothing happened).
So I did this : Windows + R --> "maniaplanet:///" and it worked, a window appeared, i downloaded an update, then they ask me to restart it to complete the update.

But here is the second problem. I read somewhere, that to complete the update, we must launch ManiaPlanet from the "Play" buttom, the buttom that doesn't work for me...

Could someone please help me ?

This is a known issue that appears for some people which is still under investigation.
In fact, a proper update can only be done when the game is started using the Launcher (the dialog window that also allows to modify the settings).

Try to launch ManiaPlanet.exe directly from the folder it was installed to.
Also make sure you have installed it using admin rights and that neither firewall nor virus scanner are blocking ManiaPlanet.exe.
