No but you do the map format right? I thought we talked about importing TM1 Stadium tracks to Maniaplanet Stadium?

We are capable to import tracks today, like we did with cars at a time. The question is more about the sustainability of the system and development. So we are capable of reading Nations tracks, but I have not yet decided to know if we will keep this as a feature. I would rather like it.

I have talked a lot with guys from the tm scene recently and almost everybody asked and said to me: "Do you know if they take 20€ for Valley and Stadium ? I´m really interested in valley and stadium but this would be too much". Are you aware of this ?

Ah, and please keep the freezone away from maniaplanet, it´s the most annyoing thing in Nadeo´s history ever. Stadium completely free or not. But not this half thing called "freezone".

Do we get another TM2 environment? I mean a third new envi after Valley. (I wouldn't count stadium as new ^^ )

Indeed keep it like that, so there are old TM1 tracks next to TM2 tracks ( please please )

A gaming site reported that Trackmania 2 Stadium will be free to play but Valley will cost something.

I guess for Valley again 20€.

But wait for an offical response from Nadeo, maybe the site is talking rubbish

^^^^That's what I wanted to say Zooz : we have been able to import from TMU for the trailer, and had to do this mostly because the editor had so much evolved since TMUF that some blocks didn't appreciate the upgraded version and made maniaplanet crash to desktop. This is quite some work for Angry Duck and you can't be sure that import will still work when everything will be running fine.
And the most important is that Hylis has to decide if we keep this feature ,as he said; it's not an easy decision I recon.

note : I set up environments/collections following Hylis instructions: name, size of the editor area, size of blocks, then I prepare files and directories for it to work and get ready to receive the blocks... this is not programming, I'm not responsible of the tracks format directly.

Seen the answers from Hylis and he doesn't know yet

But i want to bring to the attention that if you want the people that play on the old TM1 free accounts to come to maniaplanet that you have to have some free part of Trackmania2 (for excample Stadium (lite version) )to play for them, otherwise the keep playing TM1.
Maybe keep the lite/free version without carskins and no editor etc.
But the main argument is make 1 part of Trackmania 2 for free so you gonna get all the free players from TM1 to TM2 otherwise it will never work.
