RE-install + key-registratie mislukt

Ik wilde zonet even TrackMania 2 spelen (na enkele maanden het niet gespeeld te hebben), maar merkte dat het spel meteen afsloot na op 'spelen' te klikken in de launcher.
Ik zocht naar een oplossing voor dit probleem op google, en vond al snel dat dit waarschijnlijk te maken had met een update (ivm Storm). Er werd aangeraden om het spel opnieuw te installeren.

Na de re-install, kon het spel zich openen zoals het hoort en kan ik inloggen.
Meteen wordt gevraagd om de update te downloaden. Kort daarna stopt de download: 'niet genoeg rechten om het bestand te downloaden' (of iets in die genre, ik herinner me de exacte foutmelding niet)
Het spel meldt dat ik de demo speel, en vraagt me om het volledige spel te kopen. Ik ga naar de optie 'key invoeren', voer mijn key in, maar dan treedt er een fout op:
Key-registratie mislukt.
Deze spelkey wordt al gebruikt.

Ik heb dit spel op 05/10/2011 gekocht (heb de mail nog met daarin de key). Maar nu kan ik dus niet spelen...
Enig idee wat ik moet doen?

I bought the game from gamesplanet. So should I just translate my first post into English and send it to their support?

yes, please. But I guess if you have bought it on a Dutch page, they will be able to understand Duch as well, or ask you to write again in English.
If you prefer to avoid any confusion, please directly write in English, and give all the information you have (login, key, proof of purchase, etc.).

One question: did you buy it, or was the code bundeled with hardware or magazine?

I have seen reports of players where ManiaPlanet Canyon stopped after one year, because they had a free one year key only.

Hmm, I think it is a combination a both:
I didn't get my key bundeled with hardware or magazine. But I did get some kind of voucher.
I had to go to the official page of maniaplanet (http://eu-maniaplanet.gamesplanet.com) and chose 'Buy', then I could enter this voucher and the price changed from €19,99 to €0,00.

So I think I got a normal key code directly from maniaplanet.
(The error is: key already in use. And not key expired, so I hope I can still play the game)

I just received an automatic reply from the support, I'll wait on their answer.

De melding klopt als je het spel al eerder hebt gespeeld. Als je het spel start kies je voor de optie 'inloggen' en log je in met het account waarmee je eerder al hebt gespeeld. De gamekey is dus aan dat account gekoppeld, vandaar dat je de melding krijgt.
Het niet kunnen updaten kan hier ook mee samenhangen, maar het is ook mogelijk dat je het spel als Administrator uit dient te voeren om te kunnen updaten (in het geval van Windows Vista, Windows 7 en Windows 8).
