I understand your point, but I disagree with you because your example is not reflecting what we have here.
100% agree!

So the ladder will still reflect the "experience" (more accurately the amount of hours played)
Totaly agree again. The nadeo ladder anyway is just a "how many hours does this player played the game" ladder and not at all a "skill-ladder". That is the reason why we have included a 100% skill based ladder into SMART (server controller) as this is really reflecting the skill of a player and not only his playtime.

Can't agree at all, but make the same mistake again as on TM2 and you will also there see the player amount shrinking.
In my eyes there are just two options. 1. Make a mistake and let verything as in beta or 2. (as its regular in business and the only logical and senseful way) reset EVERYTHING with the release of the game.
Reducing the LP at start of the game by any factor (like 30% or 50%) is ineffectual and not all all consistent.
All i can say is that a whole bunch of my clan already is at the high limit, most already reached 80K and if the game is released soon and they wont be reseted, they will play one or two weeks after release and then its over. Its would be just "dumb" and very destructuble for the game and player amount to NOT reset to 0.
My opinion but as i sayed already. Nadeo needs to learn what is beta and what is release and that nearly every gaming company is reseting beta data with the release. I am just telling you, not my job to teach you.
I just say: Make the same mistake as on TM2 (not resetting the ladder at release) and you will see soon as much players playing SM as TM2 currently ... almost none.
