I do not know if this is just happening to just me but since i updated last night my camera will not remain in 3rd person far behind cam mode. If I restart the map or respawn i have to change camera each time I play it but the odd part is now and then I do not have to change it.
1. I have unplugged my controller to test if it was a sticking button.
2. I have set all keys to default.
3. I have restarted game and computer.
Sad part is Icannot seem to play in first person view so i cannot play the game until there is a workaround or a fix

Re: B.2c update - Camera bug
which key are you using to change the camera? afaik the numpad keys had to be used for permanent camera switching.
Of course if it still doesn't work, then this bug report is fine

Re: B.2c update - Camera bug
I have been using default key (num del). I will start in 1st view cycle thought the cameras and then sadly drive the course with a 2 second penalty for switchig cams finish the track or reset/respawn to put me back in 1st person view. Almost thinking about uninstalling and reinstall due to not seeing any others complain about this.
Re: B.2c update - Camera bug
Please check the input settings. I just have tried, and it is working properly e.g. on A01. The camera setting is kept, even after switching to A02.
Uninstalling/reinstalling will not help here in this case.
There are similar reports then and when about the camera perspective.
On which tracks does this happen? Almost on servers?
Do you know that the track designers can add camera restrictions / switching points? This is done using the Media Tracker, based on recorded ghost drives.
Usually track designers do that just before a looping, there they switch to camera 3, and after the looping, they switch back to the default camera of the player (1 or 2 or 3) to avoid manual camera switching while driving.
This is a mostly commonly used feature

Re: B.2c update - Camera bug
I do not think it is a bug I think it was my fat fingers. When I first started playing I switched a lot of key around then you mentioned in last post that permanent keys 1 decided to try hit keys 1 2 3 4 after a fully resetting default keys. drove car off cliff, into walls, flipped it put it in water and always returned to 3rd person view, Soooo was my fat fingers and moving around of keys which caused a typo and what appeared to be a bug.
Sorry to waste anyones times here and thanks for the support.

Re: B.2c update - Camera bug
thank you for the final solution of this mystery
It was no waste of time at all, and now you know all camera settings perfectly
