We've had a set back with the data transfer. Fleppie has encountered issues with transfers failing at 50%, mostly on Nation sites. We're going to have to ask Leaseweb to help us transfer the data (i.e have them transfer it on site).

In the meantime, we'll attempt another data transfer via FTP.

Really instead of giving us donor days, we (the many users of TMX and MX) should be prepared to do some donating so as to be sure we make that 1200 bill and to help offset what this mess is going to cost. I for one pledge to donate 20 euros as soon as we're back online.Let's dig deep people and get ourselves a money drive going to help these guys since they surely have given up time that would have been spent celebrating Christmas and spending quality time with family.

I challenge all of you to match my pledge. If you can't give that much give what you can. These guys deserve it.

If you are in need of a way to share your map, you can use my file repository for shootmania if you like untill mania-exchange is back online. It's free, there's no adds or thirdparty involvement. You just need to register so the system can keep track which map belongs to whom, but that's all. Uploading is simple, just upload the .gbx file and all info will be taken from it.
Link is here : http://files.designburo.nl/sm/maps/
Again, it is in no way a sm.mania-exchange.com replacement, but it can be used to share your maps while its down.

Cheers,
Charly

Its inconvient, but thats all what it is, nothing more.
Good luck in finding the best solution and if it takes a while, so be it.
We all appreciate your work and keep on doing that

We've reinstalled the operating system. The data is intact and our drive (RAID) configuration is OK. This is only an initial glimpse. We've not had a chance to thoroughly check our server.

We may be back soon! Stay tuned. :pil
