Could you add a button to randomize a map list?
It's very annoying to manually create a map list in which all the maps of the same author are not following each others.

You can adjust the random_map_order with the following method:

Open your matchsettings in a file-editor like notepad, notepad++ or any other editor.
Look for the value

Code: Select all

random_map_order

.
Adjust the Value 0 to 1.
This will Randomize your maps.
Save the file and load/insert the matchsettings file.

This is only a temporarily solution

The random_map_order value doesn't seem to be used if the server is started using the Dedicated Manager Web site.

The random_map_order option was just a workaround proposed by w1lla.
It is not only when creating a server that we need to be able to randomize the map list.

I would like to be able to randomize the map list on the page /manager/index.php/server/maps/.
It's useful when adding new maps or when we are bored to always play the maps in the same order.

I tested with the svn version: It works!
I just hope that you will have time to also add the functionality to randomize the maps without stopping the server.

What i mean is,do i must install this tool on the same machine where shootmania runs on?
