Even with what I said earlier about sound, I have to agree here. Keep it! :thumbsup: Jump pads are clearly audible when utilised by other people, so things are back to normal.

I still would like another 100 ms of delay for +0. :) But compared to what it was before, it is a huge step forward.

Hi ,

Yeah some slides where changed. I cant go fast on those 3 slides in Breach anymore( was it breach? Talking about the new map.)
I lose my speed at the end of the slides. This didnt happen before the update.
And like someone said earlier : Dont change something thats not broken.

I'd also like to hear the arguments for the delay, only one I've heard is that it makes long shots really difficult (which I feel making something more difficult makes it more impressive when it happens)
the problem was that 90% of +0s were happening when attacker could not even see the rockets being fired, i saw a round where the attacker on paladin tried to get all the defender down one by one but failed coz those were just stand behind a wall then appears for 10ms and shoot a rocket which always resulted in a +0. That wasn't intense it was just frustating as hell.
With old +0 defender could just defend themself by shooting rockets and with someluck they were realy hard to kill (if they played properly). Now with 400ms delay luck-factor disappeared thankd god. Keep it 400ms, it seems a good delay.

Thanks, for this update ! Great improvements overall...

- The new blocks are awesome (some of them are the ones I dreamed about :D) Just the lights in the new "insidecastle" blocks are a bit too big, making you unable to perform walljump inside and also allowing you to walk on them which makes gameplay a bit messy sometimes...

- Nice interface improvements (functionnalities). But I still think that interface visuals have to change and be more unite. Now we have two kinds of buttons (rectangular shiny ones in 3D and roud-edged flat ones) Sometimes readability isn't good because of lack of contrast... Why notuse a unique style for all menus and buttons ? A simple white, 2D text on a dark background will be perfect IMO, and will suits the environment logo well...
Also the titlepack screen isn't centered by default but starts in the middle of the screen. And again I don't think big borders and 3D is needed here...

This is a bug, An unwanted sound due to unrelated changes. It is already fixed and will be in the next update ;) .

I know this is for shootmania mostly
but you updated canyon a bit to and i notice the
slow motion in mediatracker is way to slow

Its like 0.01 per sec.

1 minute should be like 5 minutes at slow motion or something..

Not only did Talespins map(which I like btw!) get ruined by the nerf of slides but almost all TimeAttck maps. So many maps with world records is impossible to beat now because you cant swing proper anymore etc. It was good before, don't fix something thats not broken!! I read something about faster UI? I haven't felt that either, in fact it might have gotten slower at some points. It freezes, not really as smooth I'd say. I might be mistaken but I don't think I am. If anyone else felt it please back me up on this. Otherwise it looks better, eventhough the search button was gone, its now back. How can you forget? ;).

A few more stuff I forgot in the last post :

- enable chat and manialink navigation during shadow computing

- a few blocks variants missing:
a castle block to get out of water (like 2-4-2 but half immersed)
tight planks without pillars
grapling hook under a block you cant walk on, and without pillars. Under a grid would be OK...
windows trough castle borders

- some gameplay rework on wooden planks :
I cant jump on the wide ones which are going up, even with bumper speed, have to put a flat one after.
On the flat ones, you turn from normal move to slide too easily . Maybe increase the speed limit, and also start sliding only when you press the jump key for a certain time, short presses making you always jump.

Is this still a gameclient for TM2 right ? ??
i really miss rankings... where are they or tell me where to find ranklists of countries or players .. and like someone mentioned before .. more stats about server would be fine ..
and menus are awfull ...

Both game clients for Canyon and Storm contain ManiaPlanet menu and editor system, and the content for chosen game.
The rankings are still there, but their display was modified. To revert to the old display, you might click on the small "legacy browser" button at the bottom of the menu window.
