Hello,

I would talk about the elite mode again. I think that the reload of the railpad should be the same as the offender (3 seconds). People abuse a lot the rail and they can hit twice more than the offender. It's hard to kill the railer, it should be hard for the defender too. He can hide from a tree and spam rails. If you miss one, you are dead with 2 rails and one rocket.

It would be great if this rail platform is nerfed before the IPL to be honest.
What do you guys think?

That's true. The railpadder has got a very nice scope so he can't miss a shoot with it. It would be nice if the reload time would be the same as the offender.
Or maybe if the railpadder walk lower on this platform to be easier to kill form the offender... ?

Well, on the other hand, defender on a rail pad has no cover.

Lol he can go out from the pad and have 4 rockets + 8 spams from his teammate, but he has no cover indeed ^^

I thought I posted a reply to this comment, but apparently not, so here it comes again:

Ok, but he can drop down from railpad whenever he has and spam his rockets (like strenx pointed out). He also has zoom while on railpad.

This alone is enough, that he also has faster reload is a bit too much. So I agree with Strenx that the reload-time should be nerfed so it's the same as attackers.

what if they changed it so when you dropped off the railpad you start with 0 rockets (or maybe 1). i also think making the railpad reload speed match the normal rail wouldnt be too bad of an idea.

***** FIRST OFF *****

This is a "HUGE" Update,

Implementing a in game mechanics change completely detours away from Elite mod. Its so unbalanced now, I have the option of free wall hacks to start.
(Remove the tracers from Laser Defensive Opponents if you want to stay competitive )

***** Second Off *****

You are attempting to add more complexity to a beta version of a game that needs no change!
( If you want to make things more interesting defensively, Implement a Lighting Gun with characteristics of a charge ability or shock that does a 1HIT removal )

***** Thirdly *****

If you want more professional opinionated questions ask major tournament and league officials of their opinion,

This type of game play will invert gamers from bias to unbiased competitive play!

I still get a ping that fluctuates wildly while playing, warping me around the map, getting 'hit' by shots that I saw go past, and then not getting kills for shots the physically go through the other players.

This network lag was such a big problem in the alpha that I stopped playing altogether until the open beta. I've just played on the open beta, and I can report..
...that it's the same as it always was. Over the course of a single game the lag randomly gets better or worse; sometimes (occasionally for minutes at a time) I can play fine, but more often than not I get warped around the map or find myself unable to move. I would've thought something would be done about these networks problems considering you had the better part of a year to work on them but apparently not. So I guess I have no choice but to give up on this game, which is a real shame because it's a truly fantastic game. I guess I'm just not allowed to experience that though.

Where do you live? What is your connection? Is this for all servers? You got P2P turned off? Etc etc

Because I think you must be the only player reporting this, so I'm sure more information would help, but overall I think this is a problem on your end, not the games fault, or more people would be crying all over about this.
