I think it will be the best game ever. I expect the best. I want everything.
--basic features--
-map editor- is a 2d top down view editor where you paint colors on the white space that represent terrain types (darker is higher elevation, green is grass, yellow is sand, brown is smooth dirt, gray is pavement, blue is water etc) and then you can submit the map for a render that you can fly around in the map to check it out.
-gun editor- is a 3d object editor (like spore) when you can add shapes and drag and change features to make the gun look like anything from a normal rifle to a lawnmower and text editor for types of ammo that can be shot and modes of fire (can be dual wielded, auto, semi, burst, damage as melee weapon).
-ammo editor- is 3d object editor (like spore) for bullet appearance and also a text physics editor (like halo 1 map tools) where I can make the bullet bounce or stick or float or skim on different surfaces and control damage, rate of fire, reload time, spread or accuracy, recoil, and number of bullets per shot.
-mission editor- is similar to map editor with a 2D top view where you place bad guys and good guys start positions, finish positions, mission critical items (hostages, keys, objectives, destruction targets), mission aid items (ammo, health, weapons, allies) and game play modes (capture flag, death match, objective based (blow up target, get hostages, hold area for certain amount of time)).
-building gallery- pre-made buildings to place on the 2d map.
-enemy, non-shooter, ally gallery- pre-made good, bad, and neutral people to place on the 2d map (like unreal tournament).
-vehicle gallery- pre-made vehicles with weapons.
With these basic features I could re-make most of the shooter games in the last 10 years. But the key is user choice. The users should be able to search for maps with the options they like. Maps should have rules like, users cannot or can bring their own custom guns or characters so the map hosts can control their games.
--advanced features--
-vehicle editor- (i got tired of trackmania when i could not change the shape of my car, steering ratios, acceleration ratios) is a 3d editor (like spore) to make multi-seat vehicles with weapon mounts, top speed, time to accelerate, weight of vehicle (like halo 1 map tools), damage of vehicle, jump or speed burst options, vehicles weapons are shoot-able by driver options.
-building editor- is a text editor where you specify rooms, levels, and import images for wallpaper and the building is auto-generated.
-character editor- RPG or sims style editor to make the characters in the game, jump height, speed, melee speed, reload speed, number of weapons than can be held, speed penalty for carrying too many weapons
-artificial intelligence editor- pick condition based behaviors of characters, enemy will run if many in their group are killed (halo 1), enemy will need 2-5 shots to zero in on target (delta force), enemy will use or not use cover, enemy can or cannot locate other players based on sound or sight, range of sound and sight. orders that can be given to allies (unreal tournament)
-armor editor- create different suits for players, more armor, protection from certain types of ammo or attacks, protection from fall, increased jump, increased speed
-physics editor- control gravity of environment, multiple sources of gravity, surface traction, bounce of surface, types of surface (when surface is struck by this ammo it breaks or grows), damage caused by surface to player, weather effects (i want to shoot a missile at a cloud to make it to rain ammo or acid or enemies).
-environment destruction editor- red faction guerrilla has the best environment destruction but the user has no control. there should be options to set for low, medium, high destruction, and the map maker should be able to pick what can and cannot be destroyed on their map.
With these advanced features I dream of making a first person version of super mario brothers 3 and a first person version of grand theft auto

Of course respawns, but only if you die Waiting for the end of a round sucks as hell, if i got time for playing, i wanne play ^^

But if you enable respawn without any "punishment", everyone will just respawn if he sees a other player who will kill him... that's what i wanted to say
yes, but if that's possible and you think you won't kill him before he shoots at you, you will respawn at once, wouldn't you?
