Can't connect to my own server!!!

someone already asked the same question... like a year ago.. but cant seem to find a straight or an updated answer since the OB.. i created a map.. and tried using it to create my own game or "server" but when i tried to create it. it says "your nat type is not open" or something... but still was able to create the server and waited for like 12 minutes and no one joined.. so i decided to backed out of the game and i tried to join another "server" same game mode tho.. joust to be exact.. i saw the server that i created.. but when i tried to join on my own server.. it says "cant connect to server"... or "cant join server".. can you guys please help me with these??..thanks

You need to open the ports 2350 (and 3450 if you need P2P) in your router for maniaplanet.

that will do the trick
open the ports 2350 and 3450 for TCP and UDP each and players will be able to join your game
you weren't able to join your own server as you only host a created multiplayer game as long as you're in it
it was only showing up in the list because of a refresh delay

btw: i opened up 2351 and 3451 as well because these are kind of alternative ports which are used sometimes
