escape and crash

Hey guys, since today I am experiencing a weird issue. So when I am ingame and press the escape button to open the options for instance, the whole game crashes. I already reinstalled the entire Maniaplanet to see if it fixes it, but it didnt. Please help

Can you reproduce this on any server or is it only on one specific?

Which kind of tools are you using in parallel? Any application that monitors the keyboard or which has hotkeys?
What keyboard do you have?

Please check your Windows Update if you have missed some updates, also check the optional ones.
There was recently a update, possibly it is affecting functionality.

One cause for such crashes was sound driver, another was video driver.
Please make sure you have the most actual versions, but not beta versions (ok, this sounds funny with the actual Open Beta )

Also got a crash on hitting Esc today. Similar to the one that happens when you type something in chat and hit Enter right away, or a random one when it crashes if you do something shortly after map load (like a chat message, or something in menus) - the game just freezes and you hear a sound loop.

No special tools running, only browser, music player. The only thing that was different is that I had my Kindle charging.

Win7 64 bit, all the latest updates installed. Drivers are also up to date.
