Just got banned from the only US joust server for no reason.

Just tried to join the "joust -all welcome" us joust server and was randomly banned for no reason by the people in the server. They aren't the server owner/s cause I've played with him a bunch. Just some random guys. Pretty dumb that you can get banned from a server for nothing.

Especially considering the name is all welcome and I played there all weekend.

As for who did it it was some sk guys and someone named STUD.

Hope this isn't the kind of shit this community does alot because I just started playing this game and random acts of being a dick make me want to not play anymore.

No I'm from the US. Yeah, I mean either they did it to be dicks and for the lulz of banning someone or they only wanted to play with their group. Either way it's dumb because it isn't their server and if they want to play by themselves they should get their own, instead of banning people from a "all welcome" server. Furthermore I would have backed out if they had just said they wanted to play by themselves. But they didn't say anything just voted I only wrote "What?" "Why?"
Well I tried a european server later and I didn't get to much lag to I guess I'll be playing in the EU

yeah no fun indeed. I think a lot of people got kicked/banned some day by some people for a stupid reason.
Removing the voteban is no option & Nadeo cant help you either. It's the admins 'fault'.

Yeah I figured. The thing that doesn't really make sense to me is that there aren't any Ubisoft servers that are running Joust or Elite for that matter. Why are there about 100 royal/battle servers, and no joust and elite I mean it makes sense there aren't obstacle timetrial cause those are user generated maps mostly, I guess joust is too, but there have to be some standard maps they can throw on a server. I mean 1 server for the whole US is a little silly, there aren't many Shootmania players yet, but there are enough that we should have more than 1 player owned 6 player server. Especially if a group can come in an ban anyone who isn't in their group.

Like I said one was called STUD, another was sk id_ from sk gaming and i think there was another sk guy. Don't remember the others. While I think these guys are dicks for banning me with no reason, my intention is not to start a witch hunt. Rather to point out that this is a problem if people can do this.

The greatest result in my opinion would 1. to be unbanned or 2. for there to be more servers at least some of which could be ubisoft servers.

The best thing would be to show this thread to an SK manager (#sk on irc) and request that said player unban you.

This kind of behavior isn't fitting of someone wearing their tag, and a thread such as this will only help you get results faster.

What's (what was) your ladder rank in Joust mode? They might have banned you because they didn't want to play against a "noob" (not calling you that), which is a very childish behaviour. I'm surprised there were guys from SK.
