Sorry to quote an old post...

There seems to be a fairly large group of people who prefer environments being separated. I don't know if it's because they can focus on what they like best, or simply enjoy a more consistent experience. But the past holds undeniable truth that Nadeo is probably heading in the right direction with this idea of one environment per title.
I guess only time will tell if it was the right decision.
I'm not sure at all that most of players prefer environments to be separated. It's a lot of a fashion: in 2008-2009 there were a lot of island servers, of which lots vanished and now coast servers dominate... The only kind that
constantly performed a good attendance all over the years are the multi-environment ones, in united.
Don't misunderstand me: i'm not against single environment servers and i even attend them sometimes. Of course people who want single-environment servers should be allowed to build them. But the same applies for multi-environments servers. And the fact one kind of server lives doesn't prevent the other to live besides. Every way of gaming should remain possible, people should still be free to create all types of servers. No matter if environments are sold separately (which doesn't make a problem to me) or as a bundle, we should be able to play them alltogether as long as we bought them all.
I'm quite disappointed to see this legitimate wish being neglected or even denied, and i wonder what feelings / thoughts might legitimate this denial, considering multi-environments servers harm nobody. In the name of what should we, multi-environment players, be kicked out of the community???...
