Just been trying the game out for half an hour. First impressions, not impressed. It LOOKS IDENTICAL to the original game! It PLAYS IDENTICAL to the original game. What's the point of it then?

Am I the only one who isnt able to give up while driving? I only can do respawn to last cp.

because 'chat' is enter, because 'chat is enter' is a classic in multiplayer game now and that space bar has to be bound to jump for classic of FPS :/

I liked it better with ENTER as respawn (enter the track!) but it is more universal now somehow.

What´s the command line for recomputing the lightmaps with batch ?

Search forum "command line lightmaps"

Would be awesome if you just write it down here for stadium and where to put the old maps because it doesn´t work for me and some others(see page before).

Thanks for your response Hylis. However with Backspace I only go back to the last cp and I can't give up. Anyway I will now configure my controller since I just bought the game on steam.

Great work guys, I like the graphics. However I think the handling changed a bit? Maybe only my imagination because I didn't play Stadium for about 1 year ^^

It does not help :/
I didnt change the settings and even if I do, I am not able to set my car back to start.
It seems so, that there is only a setting for respawn instead of two settings for respawn and "give up".

I just added the title, it downloaded everything, and stuck at this. Restarting MP and rebooting didn't help.

Press on the "delete" key to give up or restart from the Start.

Install was a little bit confusing because the exe file (~500MB) suggest a brand new install and i was afraid that some of my canyon data will get lost but it´s not, just installed it over the canyon installation and stadium is added to my maniaplanet menu
