Problem

Hello,

I'm unable to play Shootmania, at a random interval my game will kind of freeze. But the UI and counters keep going.
What usualy happends: i see the announcement that i have to attack, but the game doesn't zoom in' and is stuck ont he overview.

My ping and internet are fine, and other games work without any problem.
I have no firewall or antivirus etc.

Which internet connection do you have? How did you configure the network settings of the game?
Some people managed to eliminate the lags by using a proper configuration, and limiting the bandwith used by the game itself.

Could you give me some settings?
Ive tried playing around with it and changing the ports etc.. but so far it didn't help =(.
We have a (A)DSl(+) connection from speedtest:
ping 22ms
Download 42.08 Mbps
Upload 5.12 Mbps

What is the setting in the configuration menu of the game launcher application?

Is your bandwith garanteed?

A good guess is to use 3/4 down to half the possible bandwith, since you never know fluctuation and background things of your own PC.

So don't just select ADSL 8Mbit/s, but chose the custom settings and also go to the advanced configuration network menu.
You could enter 15~20 Mbit/s for download, and 2MBit/s for download.
