I agree with all this, though you can get around the analog axis issue by making sure the axis is on the neutral point.

Far from true. Seems most new games are geared toward slaves of the 360 and are difficult to change and that Pisses me off. Just seems incomprehensible not to have an "UNBIND" key to me.

I can't for the life of me get the d-pad to bind to steer left/right, is this at all possible?
