The acceleration - Break axes support is screwed up.
I have tried to remap in Logitecs's Profiler, both with separated and combined Acceleration - Break axes. All combinations makes the car go backwards at full sped when in neutral. A gently push on acceleration OR break pedal makes it go forward. The neutral seems to be somewhere at 1/4 on either pedal.
You need to work more on the Controller implementation, allowing a better wheel configuration. Watch and learn from the Need For Speed series, they have never failed on me...
For me, this is a show stopper. I will not buy this game until I can use my Wheel...

Could you perhaps use a button for the brake instead of using an axe for it?
Re: [TM2] CONTROLERS - MOMO Racing Wheel
yeah, and there's no analogue acceleration-brake thing in TM anyway. and it won't be implemented.

Re: [TM2] CONTROLERS - MOMO Racing Wheel
I just tested both TM2 and TM2C using my MOMO wheel and Logitech's Gaming Software.
First, make sure that the Gaming Software is reporting combined pedals for gas and brake.
Then, go into TM2 and check the inputs page. There should be one combined entry for analog accelerator/brake. Click it and press on one of the pedals. It should now say "Combined Pedals" is the key bound to it. Repeat to clear out the old bindings if needed.

There is. I think it only appears if TM2 detects a wheel that uses (or can/should use) combined pedals.Omnixor wrote:yeah, and there's no analogue acceleration-brake thing in TM anyway. and it won't be implemented.

that's, well, strange. I ALWAYS read that there's only analog steering.

Yes, anyway pedals or analog pad triggers can be used, not really analog but on/off.Omnixor wrote:that's, well, strange. I ALWAYS read that there's only analog steering.
The problem is that only one analog axe is supported for throttle/break, so using them you can't use both throttle and break at same time...

So... on all TM, the only way to use such analog controls is to not configure its axe in TM, and to use 3rd party drivers(*) to map them to your throttle and break keys.
(*) i don't remember all of them, as i don't use them. Xpadder is one of them.

Re: [TM2] CONTROLERS - MOMO Racing Wheel
Just in case... I got a g27 and i can bind all keys/axes without any problem and with logitech profiler (or xpadder) set properly the axis
Re: [TM2] CONTROLERS - MOMO Racing Wheel
But only one axis for both throttle/brake (they are not separated in the game configs), so you anyway need to bind keys to pedals.Rots wrote:i can bind all keys/axes without any problem
