I have a suggestion for the sequence 3 2 1 Go! that all races starts with. The 3 2 1 looks good, but I think the "Go!" is to fast and hard. I would like it to be in the same way as the 3 2 1. In TMNF it is all in the same tempo. If I want to drive for hours, then I like to feel good and relaxed all the time.
A similar thing can be said about Canyon when there is often very fast light at the "Go!". It's mostly visible at lower graphics settings. That is to me disturbing and I don't see at all why you want it to be there.
I think you should pay great attention to the starting sequence so that the game is soft and feels harmonic all the time you are running it. These kind of "small" issues is what can make the difference for me and maybe a lot more players between playing and not playing.

Re: 3 2 1 Go!
Agree on that, but it's not such a big issue that it keeps people from playing ^^ Although would be better if they change it!

Re: 3 2 1 Go!
Agree, or at least open up for the possibility to make changes/input a custom sound as in TMF.. This is now impossible beacuse of a digital signature that messes up the game if you change it....
I Always felt the "go" was too loud, i have taken it out completely on my TMF-install.

Re: 3 2 1 Go!
Just to add bug with 3, 2, 1, GO!, sounds. It happens sometimes (multiplayer, not sure about solo) that counting sound is missing, for example 3, 2, ..., GO!, or any other situation, it is rare, but often enough to take notice of it, it migh be caused by server lag, I've tried to replicate it now in solo, without success.
It happens on Realtek onboard sound (ALC892 codec), driver version 6.0.1.6662 (R 2.70), with default audio settings, normal quality, "Enable EFX", "Enable droppler", "allow music to change while racing" options enabled. Speakers = Use system config (happens with both 2 speakers, and 5.1 speakers configurations, without DSP effects on driver level - EQ etc. all off).
